Farmer-Friendly

 

We buy fair-trade coffee. Fair trade stipulations limit land size to one or two hectares. Producers with more land are not eligible for certification, which can be tough for many growers like the ones we buy from.

Most of our coffees, even if not labeled fair trade, are still fairly traded and farmer friendly. All of the coffee we purchase is sold at a premium above the New York Stock Exchange commodity price for all our coffee.
